A spontaneously organized group, what we would call law enforcement today. The time was 1863, the late Edo period. The Edo Shogunate conscripted them, and they traveled to Kyoto in droves. This group, consisting of about 200 ronin (masterless samurai), was called the Shinsengumi. Their leader was Kondo Isami. The protagonist of the story, Hijikata Toshizo, was his deputy. This militarized group was responsible for maintaining order in Kyoto during the turbulent late Edo period. Their main task was to suppress pro-emperor forces, anti-foreign forces, and unruly ronin. Due to the chaotic situation at the time, although many books have been published about the inner workings of the Shinsengumi, many details remain unexplained. It can be said that this is a dark and little-known chapter in history. Therefore, Hijikata Toshizo's character is also shrouded in mystery. This work reveals Hijikata Toshizo's unknown dark side. He had an uncontrollable sexual desire. Perhaps because the era was unpredictable, no one knew what tomorrow would bring. Or perhaps, Hijikata Toshizo's male instincts drove him to reproduce. He was obsessed with impregnating women, ravaging them in a frenzy. This film vividly depicts those crazy and passionate days, rich in detail, realistic and precise. Using a first-person perspective, the film immerses the audience, making them feel as if they are there, experiencing everything alongside Hijikata Toshizo.
