In the episode "Service," Rose (Somer Cole) returns home after studying abroad, greeted by the family housekeeper, Stewart (Tommy Pistor). We learn that Rose's parents died in an accident, and she inherited half of the estate, while the other half goes to Stewart. Rose says they will make good use of the special circumstances of jointly owning the house. Stewart confesses that he has always had ulterior motives towards Rose. Rose is angry, not wanting to live with a sleazy man, but also unwilling to give up her share of the inheritance. Linda (Casey Calvert) suffers from postpartum depression, one symptom of which is her lack of interest in her husband Mark's (Daniel Shahl) sex life. One day, Mark brings home a stranger (Isaiah Maxwell), shocking and confusing Linda. Mark says he knows Linda's current relationship problems are his fault, so he thinks that if she has sex with someone else, it might help her "reset" and their relationship could return to normal. After saying that, Mark left the room, leaving Linda and the stranger alone to decide what to do next.
